The Golden Gals
The Golden Gals, situated in Southbury, CT, spans 3 acres, focusing on breeding Golden Retrievers. Our dogs share our home as a family. We are Ashley and Steve Kubik, raising Retrievers since 2012. Our dogs are part of our household and 10-acre farm. We commit to breeding dogs, exemplifying the breed’s standards and health.
We are kennel-free, valuing close family ties for our dogs’ upbringing. Puppies grow in our home up to 8 weeks old. Lifelong care extends as they move to new homes. We strive for excellence in providing top-quality Golden Retrievers. Puppies receive proper vaccinations and health checks from our certified Veterinarian, tailored to their age.
We’re the Kauranen family from Southeastern, MA. Besides our love for each other, we share a deep passion for our Golden Retrievers. Our journey began with Shadow, our first Golden, pictured at 13, who cast a ‘Golden Spell’ on us.
We dedicate much time and effort to ensure the happiness and well-being of our beloved Goldens. Our first litter arrived in 1994; typically, Sapphire Goldens has three litters annually. Our girls boast champion bloodlines, and though we’ve relied on champions from local Show Kennels, our dream is to raise our champions one day. All our dogs have clearances for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes.
We aim to nurture healthy, breed-standard Golden Retrievers with that irresistible “I want to be by your side” personality. We proudly belong to the Golden Retriever Club of America, American Kennel Club, and Yankee Golden Retriever Club.
Platinum Golden Retrievers
The Kauranen family resides in Lakeville, Massachusetts. With two kids and a shared love for Goldens, our 6-acre wooded home offers ample space for dogs and kids to play. We cherish our pets’ happiness and health.
A stroll to the nearby lake provides swimming fun for our dogs. We aim to establish a strong line of “American Standard” Golden Retrievers. Pair selection for breeding considers overall health, ancestry, and physical compatibility.
Our lifelong fondness for Golden Retrievers drives us to produce well-adjusted, family-friendly, and healthy dogs. We aspire for lasting love between our dogs and their owners. Our dogs enjoy a nutritious diet of Fromm dog kibble and fresh food. Ample exercise through yard play and hikes keeps them vibrant.
Our litters stem from OFA-hip-certified sires and dams, free of genetic hip issues. Ophthalmologists assess eyes for genetic conditions. A veterinarian verifies cardiovascular health. Only dogs passing these tests are bred.
Puppies and kittens are born at home, receiving early socialization and human interaction. Vet checks at seven weeks ensure good health. We sell dogs only to non-breeding homes. Spaying/neutering is a prerequisite for responsible ownership. Meticulously pairing the best males with females yields the perfect Golden Retriever puppy.
Welcome to Goldiva Goldens! For over three decades, we, the Kauranen family, have exclusively raised Golden Retrievers at our home. In 2001, Lauren and I delved into the American Kennel Club and the Canadian Kennel Club’s Conformation ring for beauty competitions. Our dedication led to the AKC Breeder of Merit Award in 2011, recognizing our high-quality dogs with titles such as Champions, Hunting, and Obedience.
Our Goldiva Goldens aren’t confined to kennels; they’re cherished family members in our homes or co-owner contract homes for show and breeding dogs. Our puppies are raised with care by loving families.
Falmouth Veterinarians conduct thorough checkups and maintain health records for each puppy. Vaccinations, microchips, and dewormings are part of their care. We host heart and eye clinics through the Lewiston Auburn Kennel Club at our Cumberland home two or three times yearly, benefiting all dog breeds. We also contribute to the Maine Golden Retriever Club’s annual health clinics.
Goldiva Golden puppies are placed with spay/neuter contracts and AKC Limited Registration papers. We discourage breeding by puppy buyers and prohibit UKC registrations for display. Health clearances are available through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) or PennHip, with pedigrees linked to www.k9data.com, dedicated to Golden Retrievers. Experienced breeders active in AKC and CKC dog shows can inquire about show puppies.
