What to ask before choosing a puppy
- Can I see the parents’ original hip, elbow, and heart results and DNA reports? Ask your veterinarian which screening matters for Rottweilers; a general claim of “health tested” or “German bloodlines” does not show what was tested.
- What are the parents like to live with, and what are they trained for? Meet the mother if you can, and discuss your household, experience, children, other pets, and how much training and socialisation you can provide.
