Some pups are simply born under a lucky star. This little stray pooch didn’t let his situation hold him back. He had a heart full of hope and determination. He believed he would find the perfect human companion.
One day, with immense courage and enviable confidence, this pup strolled onto a naval base. To his delight, he found a kind human ready to care for him. And just like that, his destiny changed for the better.
Griffon Decided He Doesn’t Want The Life Of A Stray

Griffon, a six-month-old stray puppy, found his life on the streets too rough. So, he walked onto a U.S. naval base overseas and picked himself a hooman.
The base’s Commander spotted Griffon and knew the pup wouldn’t last long alone in such a dangerous place. He scooped Griffon up, believing the motto, “Those who arrive alive, leave alive,” applied to this little stray, too. Paws Of War, a non-profit that helps animals, shared this story on Facebook.

The rumor about the stray puppy quickly spread, and everyone wanted to meet the brave little Griffon. The soldiers couldn’t resist his charm. He had walked into the base, won their hearts, and made himself a little hero.
The Commander didn’t want to leave Griffon behind. He brought the pup back to Maryland to live with his wife and kids. They were thrilled to welcome Griffon into their family.

Griffon became a beloved family member, bringing joy to their daily lives. With the help of Paws of War, Griffon moved from the base into his new family home.
Griffon’s new life was much brighter. He reunited with the Commander, the first person who truly saw his worth.

Today, Griffon serves and protects his family, just like his hooman daddy does. He got the life he deserved and became the loyal companion he always wanted to be.
