Originally breeding German Shepherds, the Scotts’ program lasted 41 years and yielded exceptional outcomes. Jadziah Australian Shepherds is where my first Australian Shepherd and Australian Champion Marashar Dancing Waters ADM JDM SD HT came to us in 2001. Splash is the perfect combination of beauty and intelligence. Her sons, Jadziah Super Sonic ADM JDM SPD HT ‘Jet’ and Jadziah Super Sleuth ‘Holmes,’ are also following in their mother’s footsteps.
We also have a beautiful Black Tri bitch from Bellamarnie Kennels, Australian Champion Bellamarnie Torquem Up ADX JDM HT ‘Azra.’ Azra has an amazing side gait, endless energy, and an adorable wriggly butt! Azra also has two gorgeous offspring from Bobby (American/New Zealand/Australian Champion Alnairs The Guardian) – Jadziah Here Comes the Sun ‘Sunny’ and Jadziah Walking on Sunshine ‘Achilles’ – who will be shown occasionally.
We typically only participate in confirmation shows long enough to earn titles, and then it’s on to the fun stuff of agility competitions. Welcome to Clearun Kennels, formerly known as Sugargum Kennels. Our breeding program has produced outstanding Conformation, Agility, Herding, and Flyball dogs. We imported the first Australian Shepherds from the USA in the early 1990s, and our dog Gideon was the only one to be awarded ASCV Hall of Fame.
Our USA import, Multi BIS Aust Supreme Ch. ‘Stonehaven’s London Calling’ (Imp USA), known as “Clash,” is a prime example of our breeding success. He has great reach and drive, exhibits a wonderful type, and has a bubbly personality. His show results have already earned him many Best in Show and Runner-Up Best in Show awards and numerous BIG awards.
Our selection of original imports laid the foundation for quality Australian Shepherds, and our breeding results can be seen in dogs like Aust Gr.Ch. & Am Ch Sugargum Top Shelf and her Dykinta progeny.
We take pride in continuing our breeding program under the name ‘Clearun Aussies,’ with the introduction of many sought-after bloodlines. Alfoxton Dog Centre
At Alfoxton Dog Centre, we have been running training classes since 1993. We deeply understand how important it is to have dogs with the right temperaments to fit into our human society. We also started breeding in 1984 and have since developed an intensive Puppy Enrichment Program. By the time our puppies are ready to go to their new homes, they are already experienced in car travel, visiting outside homes, and exploring around our farm. We encourage new owners to regularly visit and bond with their puppies from the time they are three weeks old and even attend some of our puppy classes.
We hold 3-4 Meet & Greet Days a year, inviting the public to come to our Centre and meet a variety of adult dogs and learn about Aussies. This allows families to decide if this breed will fit into their lifestyle. These events are advertised on the Alfoxton Facebook Page.
Our dogs live with families and are actively involved in promotional displays at public venues and working in classes and workshops. With over 30 years of breeding experience (initially with GSDs and now with Aussies), we still prefer only to breed perhaps three litters a year. This allows us to enjoy the process of working with dogs and still have the time required to raise our puppies and support new owners. Alfoxton is proud to have our breeding dogs scored for Hip and Elbow and conducting DNA tests.
